XT sale outside of UK?
hi guys,
i live in manchester UK and im selling my tenere to a guy in Lithuania. obvious precautions aside how are the DVLA going to feel about this? i know i have to send them the V5C with the new keepers address on it. can i just write down where he lives in Lithuania and be done with it? cheers |

Check your log book there's a section 11 for permanent export you fill that in and send it to the DVLA you will need to give the seller a photo copy of the log and written permission from you when the buyer takes the bike out of the country because until it leaves these shores your liable or the DVLA get the paperwork

Thanks. I did a little looking round the net and it seems to be as you say, fill in the export section and give/ get signed receipts of sale with the time on... in case the new buyer hits a few speed cameras on the way home
pretty sure he's collecting it in a van though, so not too worried about that |
