Riding the new Tenere
Hi All, managed to escape work and get a hundred miles on the new Ten around West Sussex today. Freezing cold and ice on the puddles but she felt great...rock solid, comfortable. Great riding position, sweet gearbox. Quite a 'busy' sounding engine but that's it's character!! The only slight negative was some buffeting, but I found that if I reached up and held on to the peak of my Arai tour X it stopped. .? Or at least really reduced. I'm sure I have read somewhere of someone stiffening up the peak of there lid to help with this. So with so few miles on the bike I'm not best qualified to comment, but so far I love the bike and PHEW! I'm sure I made the right choice! Steve

Yep, the Ten is a breath of fresh air. Comfortable, economical, character from the single pot. Just need to get rid of the OEM tyres next.... Awful in the wet. Enjoy your bike.
