zeta handguards for Tenere?

Hi, does anyone know if the Zeta handguards will fit the Tenere..? And what's the likely outcome of not having the bar end weights..? Many thanks Steve

I dont know the Zeta hand guards however i fitted the sw-motech Kobra guards (they are also used on the BMW GS 1150) these guards have a balance wieght incorporated in the kit but are still lighter than the very heavey stock wieghts. The result for me was increased vibes on the handle bars but nothing excessive I have had four cylinder bikes that vibed the same. On a plus note the mirrors are now much clearer than stock.

Basicaly the lighter the wieghts the more vibes you are going to get, the answer would be to drill and tap the standard wieghts and fit a custom length bar, which will be alot trickier than it sounds. If you decide to unscrew the standard length wieghts you will need the correct TORX BIT an allen key will just chew the end as they are very very tight,
