Hi from Australia Guys,I have a new set of 450 mm oval Stainless Delkevics, very happy with the finish and build quality, they did take a bit of time to fit,to get everything lined up .First I tried them without the rear inserts, wow these things are loud!!!,far too loud to use on the street with any level of comfort.I then put in the supplied db killer inserts, and that brought the volume down to a more bearable level----just.
I emailed Delkevic Australia and they got back to me straight away with the option of some extra long db killer inserts of which I purchased for $90 Aus inc freight,I have just fitted these and I think they bring the noise down slightly?,but still not as much as I had hoped.
The pipes have transformed the way the bike rides,I have both Kev Mods, and a stage 3 Filter,on the highway my bike now hammers where before it wheezed up to 140KMH + and will cruise comfortably on 120 plus, whereas before you could feel it was being strangled by the intake and exhaust.
All in all I am very happy with the pipes, and for the price ,you cannot go wrong (but don't forget the earplugs!!!)i

I had a set on my xt660r they are very good quality and I am in the trade . Sound really nice not over loud just nice and deep with baffles in . I only took mine off 2 weeks ago (and was gutted ) as I have bad ears. I would not think twice of buying another pair if my ears were ok. Buy them you will not be disappointed. Ps one thing I would say to all riders use ear plugs from years of riding and then 2 years ago doing 2000 miles on an xt660x with aftermarket cans on in 3 days fecked up my ears for good. I now have bad tinnitus and any wind roar even with plugs in feels like hell. Trust me just google it how many bikers end up in trouble with there ears. It really is not worth it trust me the pain is not good.
