Will xt600E high mudguard fit xtz Tenere??

Hi lads,

So Ive finally bought a Tenere. It has Spain to Cape Town experience but still in very good condition. It is white and I will spray it blue. I will also fit a high mudguard. I like the xt600E front fender because its shape compliments the Tenere's contours nicely.

I have manipulated some photos to see what it would look like when fitted. It looks nice I reckon.

Black or blue front fender? What you think?

......But will the xt600E fender even fit?.......

BLACK??

OR BLUE??

I hear you. The reason why I went for blue is bcz my first bike was the xt600e and I liked its blue colour. Secondly, there is already so much black on the bike tht blue lightens it up a bit. Ill post a pic soon. Just to respray the tank and cowling now.....

Hi did the mudguard fit on without any modification at all?

As a point of interest my blue 2014 tenere has a matt black front mudguard as standard .The 2013 blue tenere had a blue front mudguard.

Hi did the mudguard fit on without any modification at all?Yes, it fits perfectly, no modifications. It JUST misses the radiator. The holes line up perfectly. You will need to take off the recovery bar or turn it around to face the radiator. or you can fit spacers between them.

The Ten in my opinion without the high fender looks like its missing something. Just doesnt look right without the high mudguard. I have checked out most of the high fenders for the Ten but they all look incredibly silly, stupid, senseless or plain right atrocious. How people can put them on their bikes is beyond me. Forget Touratech, OTR, those short stubs or generic fenders, the xt600e contours compliment the Tenere's lines perfectly, very natural fushion.

The photoshop looks 99% like the one on my bike. The fender horizontal angle only differs by two or three degrees.
