Hey Guys. Anyone know how you can check the TPS on a bike that won't start? Particularly looking for resistance values.
Bike has already had a new ECU, coils and a nbr of other sensors fitted but still no spark
at plug.

AFAIK there are no resistance values quoted for the TPS.

You can of course measure the resistance across its track from closed to open and check that it changes smoothly all the way round. You can also check for an open or short circuit voltage with a multimeter at the connector. Otherwise you will could get hold of a diagnostic tool and run diagnostic mode D01 to check the TPS; shows the relative change in position (arbitrary numbers not resistance) and whether its operating as it should (which is pretty much the same as checking its resistance range with a multimeter at the connector).

A dodgy TPS is unlikely to cause no spark though?
