Mini Adventure

Hi all, after suffering the grief of a slipped disc last October I parted with a tidy f650 dakar in June for a Ducati 696, which pretty soon felt like a mini moto! So what the hell! still popping too many opiates to mention and waiting for a second jab in the spine, on Thursday I take a train 140 miles cross country to pick up a 2010 ten. Tell me I've made the right move?

Definitely - the 660 Tenere is well known in medical circles as a cure for slipped disc ;-)
More seriously, hope you make a full recovery...

Medically proven

I spent two years with back issues related to a disc, and the best medicine I found was a week riding an XTZ off road in Morocco. Seriously, my back was better at the end of that week than it had been at any time in the previous two years. That was back in May of this year. I came home, bought an XTZ of my own and have stayed more or less pain free ever since. The more I ride the XT, the better it is.

Happily, it's a fun bike to ride too. I hope yours does for your back what mine has for mine. Welcome to the XT club.
