Just got back and freezing, it's -2C in here estonia . But it's not double, when gps shows me 50 kmh then speedo is about 153, at 70 speedo shows 199. Can it be faulty speedsensor giving to many pulses or there is ecu problem?

Just a thought... You're bike hasn't had a Speedo-Healer fitted at some time in the past by a previous owner? If it has, it could be that it's calibrated wrongly?

Has your bike got any fuelling devises fitted? Power Commander, O2 optimiser etc. Or maybe a gear position indicator that takes a reading from the speed sensor? They can all occasionally cause random speedo errors, particularly if not fitted correctly or the connectors get damp/corroded.

I had the same problem found out that there was a hole in he bottom of the speedo and water has got in and was slowly frying it ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413993370.122644.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1413993382.239586.jpg I ended up replacing it altogether and the problem disappeared

My speedo seems to be ok, no cracks or nothing. Maybe there is something in speedo schematics, but it seems it can't be opened. I know one guy who owns xt660, i talk to him and maybe i can try his speedo or sensor (on his bike speedo is working correctly).
