Hello all, experiencing the random engine cut out after 2000 miles so I need to up the idle. Only trouble is I can't see an easy way to get to the screw.....any advice to save me time and heartache would be much appreciated

The idle is on the left hand side under the tank, should be reachable easily just above the exhaust pipe

If I remember correctly, last time I adjusted the idle I used a long flat head screwdriver to kind of 'rotate' the idle screw on the edge as I couldn't get my hand in to adjust it.

I pull the breather pipe off the airbox. Then put my right fingers in on the right side of the frame and left fingers on the left side of the frame and manage to turn it with my finger tips.

If you haven't got something like this in your toolbox, you really should invest. Can't tell you how handy they are for just this sort of job, and if you have a habit of dropping nuts and screws in the most awkward an inaccessable places like me. A godsend if you're cursed with chubby digits too!
