can I go over logs on xt660x?

Like on this video?
This is important for me if I can force to "fly" heavy bike like xt660
because I'm gonna be riding mostly off road.

Er ........................ no mate. The XTX is a road bike with a 17" front wheel and road tyres, so you would struggle to get over a stick......unless you get bigger wheels and proper tyres, but probably cheaper to trade her for an XTR or Z....

Depends on whether YOU can go over logs on a bike.

If YOU can then the X is not the best choice but if the log is smaller than the radius of your wheel and you de weight the front the bike should still go over it.

Not that I am saying you should that is your choice.

Not heard of wheel standing ?

I have managed it a couple of times on my XTR.... BUT
the dam thing is so heavy.. the rear wheel would rarther spin
than grip enough to lift the front... it's a bit hit and miss..
logs up to 250mm arn't a issue.. just the bigger ones...
I have a high pipe & bash plate so landing on the plate
isn't a big prob... but a XTX with low pipes & flimsy
bash plate/pebble deflector could be...
The 17' front wheel is not going to make it easy...

have a go... It may work out ok for yer....
