Fuel mod, loose wire

Hi,

What will happen if fuel mod wire get loose?

How I can test that fuel mod is working and A/F ratio is ok. Checking spark plugs or something? Or should I test before adding next mod and compare the result. I have stage 2 and O2.

I had a broken wire on mine a while back. It's easy to detect as an error code 22 will show up on the dash if the ECU looses comms with the AIT sensor. My check engine light intermittently came on and off while riding, until it stayed on giving the 22 code. Traced to a wire where the internal copper conductor had fractured.

FYI - If there is an error 22, the bike will run and the ECU sets the AIT temperature to a fixed value of 20C, which isn't too bad considering average ambient temperatures in most places.

Why do you think you have loose wires to the fuel mod? As mentioned it will log a fault in the dash with a warning light.

Hi, thank for fast reply. I was just thinking what will happen, because when I was adding the mod the sensor wire was so short that it was hard to install without removing tank. All of mods really change the way how bike works. Thank you Kev!
