I had Touratech roll-bar - upper:

I have to tell you that the quality is very poor. They are made from cheese. The worst of everything is the mounting kit. It has only to bolts - one up and one down. Nothing to prevent this bar to move straight to the engine cover in the case of accident. I installed mine two years ago and from the moment I did it and saw how unstable it, how close to the engine cover on the left and water pump on the right I new that I will take it off.
Because it was pain in the ass I always said(ok tomorrow, tomorrow..)but today I did it and I am so happy. If you want a real protection, buy adventure spec crash bars, the Touratech staff is just cosmetic.
