Hello!

Hey everybody! I just signed in to this forum, I am a new, happy XT66Z, 2011 owner. I have the bike since March (2014), so we are still experiencing eachother . The bike has an aftermarket, black windscreen, and I feel some naughty airflow on high speed (over 80 km/h) which is really shaking my head.
Do you have any ideea, which is the "perfect" windscreen to minimize this bad airflow?
Somebody told me that this airflow is coming from under the free space between the tank and the light. How can this be resolved?

Thank you, I am confident that I will find only good ideas from here!

PS: Sorry for my bad english!

Welcome on board mate.

Your English is way better than my Romanian!

Sorry - No such thing as the perfect screen. Everyone is a different size and shape - just too many variables. What works effectively for one person, could well make things worse for another!

Try experimenting with tape and cardboard, try a few shapes, heights, spoilers etc. See what works best for you and than buy whatever looks nearest, or better still, make something more permanent up. You may even find a cut down screen works best, or even no screen at all!

Search for "bird comb" on the forum and you'll find many novel ways to interrupt the airflow coming up between the forks and tank...
