Crankshaft position sensor

Hi

My 2008 XTZ won't start any more. Engine light is flashing on long and two shorts. I read from this post http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=21089 that means XTZ crankshaft position sensor is broken or lose.
Does anyone no can I buy only crankshaft position sensor to XTZ? If I look parts manual then it comes only with statory assembly. http://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co...enerator?uID=0

Have you checked the stator plug connector ?
If it helps the sensor on the raptor 700 stator is the same and can be wired into the xt stator harness, there are always plenty of 2nd hand ones on Ebay. (but the raptor 700 stator it self is slightly different)

I got my bike running again. I was ready to transport my bike to garage, before lifting bike to trolley car I last time tried to start my bike and it started. :-) Before starting, engine light was still flashing on long to short flashes. Only thing I made differently I holded starter button longer. Now I had couple of trips and bike is still running. I know that problem is not gone away and it could happen again. Does anyone have any idea what to look or check?
When I was ready to transport bike to garage I did not have multimeter with me. After I got bike running I measured crankshaft position sensor and it showed correct number. Now every time I go to ride my bike I take multimter with me in case it happens again.
