Actually managed to put some proper miles in....

Bought my X in November, but the weather has not been on our side, so only really sat on it on Thurs (To bring home to sell the exhausts)

Really love the little thing (as usual), the handling really does take a bit of getting used to, it's exceptionally sensitive to movement on the bike when in a corner, any unsettling totally throws the bike all over the place. But once you get a bit more used to it, it seems to accept things better

I love going through the gears hard to the throttle stop, looking down at the clocks and seeing the speedo registering 85mph not 155mph lol. It's great.

Took the nasty B roads and this thing just eats them up... so much that if i'd had any other bike, i wouldn't have gone out at all.

Had to clean it 3 times on Friday LOL.

Only downside is that i've done all the financially viable mods to the bike (LeoVince exhausts arriving Monday to replace the Beowulfs) so it takes very little spannering now. NEw levers arrived and fitted, the short ones were just a bit the wrong size for me.... we'll see if these feel better.

That's a bit better.. i must admit, i love having the bike back at home so as things come to me i can sort them
On the day the bike arrived the tank panel decals REALLY bothered me, they hard cracked, split and had a few bits picked off on the white section. It's something I noticed that others may miss, but it's one of the first things you see on the bike and it killed it for me. So whipped off the panels and got the hair dryer on them decals quickly removed and looks a million times better. I actually much prefer it with less decals on there, the fact the knackered ones have gone is an absolute bonus
This side was OK, but shows the full decal

Decal removed.

Fitted

NEw exhausts arrived and fitted
VERY nice i have to say... superb quality of fasteners, bits, springs, baffles by the bucket load... As they come they sound lovely... quieter than my others, so that's good for early morning startups...

As opposed to the pile of junk that's strapped on the back as stock.
