Akrapovic exhaust XT660Z

Hello folks, when I bought my Tenere it came with an Akrapovik exhaust, however, where it joins the front pipe, the diameter of the front pipe is considerably smaller than the Akrapovic. Are they supposed to have some sort of sleeve to combat this?
The previous owner had used duct tape and obviously it just melted away. I've built it up using strips of tin and thermal tape for the time being.

Hi Dave,
maybe the previous owner just lost the sealing between the to pipes, there's supposed to be one.

So there's supposed to be some sort of sealing ring or sleeve as I suspected!
Where can I get one though?

Dave
