A bit cleaner....

So it decided to rain today (No surprise!) so being a Suffolk boy I always wash my cars and bikes in the rain (saves too much rinsing!) and today was Yasmin's turn. She's not as clean as she is going to be but everyone has got to start somewhere.
Kudos to the former owner a he liked his lubrication but obviously didn't like to wipe away any excess!! Turns out the chain guard wasn't straight so I had a grease slick on the rear of the number plate and under side of the exhaust (now straightened) and every other moving part has been lubricated to the point it was starting to drip.
I'm a Virgo with a hint of OCD so I have my work cut out but I won't rest until she's my kind of clean!!

Not sure if this is posted in the right place? I an new so I sort of qualify for not knowing my way round don't I?

Normally we used this section of the forum just for people to introduce to each other, once that is over and done, you need to scroll down and find the section of your interest, for instance there is one section dedicated to cleaning and maintenance so your pic above should be really be posted here:

I would encourage people to venture out of the "newbie's pen" into specific sections as soon as their introduction is over and done, otherwise the introductions itself runs into the abstract.

Welcome to the forum, mate. She is a beauty I deeply understand (and appreciate) your entusiasm. The bike and owner are one.

Enjoy, you have got a great bike.
