OEM panniers and non-stock exhaust system

Does anyone have oem panniers and/or oem top box and non-stock exhaust system? All info I've found is that only Akra with heat shields and stock exhaust is safe for oem panniers ?!
We have in Poland a company doing professional modification of stock exhausts (decat, increased diameter of pipes, different material used for isolation etc) what gives better sound but not give any weight savings or better look. I send my exhaust to be modified by them, but still looking for other options if any.. Here is MT-03 before and after, and according to what they told me, MT-03 and xt660z share the same exhaust system, the only difference is shape of the black shields..

P.S.
I know that I can use alu panniers, but I've received from Yamaha dealer set of oem as part of discount, and I like slim look of the bike with them.

I've only ever had the OE exhaust and the Akrapovic system fitted with the Yamaha panniers, which obviously work fine as they are an approved accessory.

From what I have read, some owners have found that several aftermarket silencers (notably MTC) sit too close for comfort to the plastic backs of the panniers. It is also worth noting that the shorter varieties of silencer, again like the MTC, tend to spray hot exhaust gases directly onto the underside of the Yamaha topcase. There are a few reports of melted topcases.

There is a fix though...

Although I've now changed my panniers to a Holan setup, the Exan X-Black exhaust I have fitted (very slim design) would easily give enough clearance with Yamaha panniers fitted. I reckon it also exits far enough back not to trouble the Yamaha topcase too.

Thanks Pleiades. Exan X-Black is definatelly the best looking 2in1 exhaust fo xtz I've seen so far. How about sound? I've checked youtube, but haven't found any sample. Is there any source I can find sound sample?

They aren't a common exhaust, which is a big plus point in my eyes.

I’m not really a massive fan of those “walk round the bike, start it, walk round again whilst on tick-over and then blip the throttle a few times” type videos found on You Tube! The sound is never quite same as it is in “real life”.

However, I’ll see what I can do for you and maybe capture the sound on file? (After we’ve got Christmas over and done with that is!)

LeoVinces do fine and do combine with OEM panniers. I had them at my Tenere.
