Front axle spacers

I am about to go on a 10 day trip on the bitumen to Tasmania. I took off my knobbies in order to put on road tyres and I noticed a bit of damage on the front rim. Had rim repaired, tyre on and by now a week has gone by and I cant remember which spacer goes where. Took a punt and the one without the lip I placed on the throttle side. It all works nothing scrapes and everything is central when looking at it. I am worried just the same, can anyone tell me which goes where. The other question is which way does the lip face? Thanks for reading

Put smaller one on the throttle side.
Bigger one on clutch side, facing the lip towards outside.
Be carefull that you will not turn around the wheel, since the hub is not same on the both sides.
I did markings, so I cant mix that one.

I can check when I come home later today, just to be 100%.

Just been through this myself , took the wheel of to change tyre , did it straight forward , put the wheel back on to seethe arrows facing the wrong way !!!!

Wheel got turned some where along the line !!!!! aaaarrrrr

No worries took it off turned tyre and NIPPED TUBE

WHY THE HELL ARE THERE TWO DIFFERANT SPACERS ????

Ni3ous is right small on throttle and big on clutch side

Just been the check and with the spacers in the right places and all tightend up the wheel is slightly off centre in the forks

This means that the calipers are also set slightly differant on each fork !!!

Come on Yamaha, i'm a brickayer and can see this doesn't make sence !!!

Soz .........rant over

Phil

Here you have all exact info, pictures taken from the front of the bike.
Also check you turn the rim properly.

You should be ok with this.
