if you are looking for nadguards I suggest you google for "cup" or "jockstrap"

On my Ten I use OEM handguards for a KTM 950 Adventure. Not as strong as Barkbusters, but they do the job and are only about 45.

LOL - Or you could try a cricket box

The Acerbis Rally Pro are good guards and that ebay price is cheap. I've seen several XTZs with them fitted. Only thing is I'm not sure how you'll fair with the universal fitting kit supplied with the ebay ones? The Tenere specific kit looks like this...

Somewhat different, particularly the bar mounting clamps' shape and length.

The specific kit is available from OTR and a dare say elsewhere, but it'll cost you another 35.

A pair of cricket boxes would probably work well as handguards

I got a pair of them... only one prob with them... the alloy used on the mounts
is that soft... the threads strip very easly..

I use ZETA ones... Use bolts/nuts not threaded holes...

I went for the Acerbis Rally Pro handguards in the end and fitted them today . They fit quite well with the universal fitting kit . I'll post a few pics up when i have a bit more time .
