New Steed

Changed the XT600E for an XT660R, I'm guessing I will be spending a bit more time on this forum

Here it is, 62 plate with 850 miles on the clock

Nice one, looks like a good, clean example. Time to get it dirty

And welcome

Very nice!

Are the black forks & swing arm standard on the 2012?

Good to see, five years after registering, you've finally gone and done it and got yourself an XT6 60!

LOL, yeah I think I registered here before I bought the XT600, and I was looking at 660's too at the time, but the lower cost and simplicity sent me in the 600 direction. Still that bike is now 11 years old, got to move with the times and get liquid cooling and fuel injection eventually, and the XT660R is the only bike out there that ticks all the same boxes.

Had a good ride on it yesterday and it certainly has improved a lot since the 600.
