LOL....

Got the MTC on today....

Firstly I cannot believe how much the stock giant vespa exhaust weighs, I nearly put my bloody back out when it finally came free hahahaha

The stainless road legal MTC replaced it and all was going well.

The DB killer in the end was rattling so I had already taken it out to fix that so the first test was minus that and OMG it was deep, full of chesty bass and LOOOOUUUUDDDDDD !

It would appear that whoever last used the pipe before me had the same issue with noise and had done some minor mods of their own by way of putting in a piece of copper pipe that was (GET THIS !!!) bent closed at one end. I'm not kidding it was screwed in to the DB killer, had no holes drilled in it and was folded shut at the end hahahahahahah god only knows how it ran like that.

Anyway, had to fix that so I bolted in a length of aluminium pipe with about 900,000 million holes drilled in it and it seems to have done the trick.

It's still loud'ish but has retained that nice deep burble and if you give it a handful it really sounds nice.

Job done.

I will take it out tomorrow at some pint and report back if their is any change in performance...

It's not the same bike, it's twice the bike it was......looks OK too.
