sorry to be a pain but.....

I need some info...

I've got the 02 sensor mod fitted and have a spanking new fuel mod sitting on the shelf in my garage...

Can I fit the fuel mod without the stage 1 & 2 DNA filters ?

Is there any point?

Will it make a difference or should I wait for my filters.

Thing is I am getting impatient and want to fit it but can't afford the filters for a while.....

Cheers guys.

I know I should have asked kev but I have asked him so many questions so far that I reckon he might think I'm slightly mental....so Sshhhhh don't tell him I asked...

You may as well fit it. Nothing to loose and it'll keep you busy for the time being!

Set it to 3 o'clock with the stock filter and go to around 5-6 o'clock when you've got the DNA bits fitted.

Great one thanks, I'll give it a shot....

Any tips on getting it just in the right position for my bike ?

Is it a case of adjust and ride adjust and ride or shall I do a plug chop ?

As I said, start at a ball-park 3 o'clock with stock filter. Then you'll need to up the resistance once you have the DNA stage 1-2 fitted.

I found best way to get the setting right is to hang the control out the side of the seat and go for a ride, fiddling with the setting as you go. Try changing the setting at various throttle positions, engine speeds and loads. Make sure motor is up to full operating temperature before you make changes. Experiment and see where you end up.

hi all.

ok I fitted the fuel mod without the filters and BAM!!!! Another huge change to the bike and the way it went. I set the dial at 3 I clock and the difference was trully amazing.

power was delivered much smoother completely done away with any surging and she pulls hard from very low down now.

input the dial to 4 and it was not as good so dropped it back to about 3:15 (3 and a tiny bit) as I'd cut snorkel down.

better much much better.

so to sum up I have:

02 sensor mod
fuel mod
cut down snorkel
standard filters
standard exhaust with cat still in.

I'm fitting a single stainless MTC tomorrow. will report back.
