Born again biker

Hi there, I have been riding bikes since 1976 and over those years I have had so many bikes and all types.
Anyway in recent years I found that I was only using the bike to get from A to B and I would be lucky to knock up 300 miles in a year. Then a year ago I decided to call in to my local dealer where I was wheel kicking a BMW GS Lovely bike but then thought hmmm how long would it before I would get bored with it and find myself back to square 1, the dealer then pointed out a XT660z I was very sceptical at first but he talked me into taking it out for a test run
1st mile not sure about this the vibration, its slow, oops wrong gear ahhhh.
5 miles hmmm
10 miles :O)
Sold, bye bye tiger hello XTZ.
5200 miles later I thank my lucky stars that I went wheel kicking and never looked back since the only regret that I hadn't done it sooner
instead of just using the bike to get from A to B I will go out just for a spin for the pure enjoyment
So 2 weeks ago bye bye Varadero (only clocked 50miles in last year) and hello XTR

Anyway I have waffled on for long enough

Oh yes XT660.com First class, keep up the good work.

breath of fresh air

Coming across the Yam 660s has been a breath of fresh air I think there would be good chance that after 37 years of biking I would be contemplating packing them in.
Riding the 660 is Very involving and satisfying in a way that a single cylinder engine can
The only regret I have is, that I didn't take one for a test ride years ago
