xt660r with street tyres like X's?
Hey,
First post and im about to buy a xtr660 from friend with complete exhaust, bellypan and all for very cheap but i keep slipping my rear tyre in turns or straight line when its raining, but i find too dangerous if i want to ride it every season in the netherlands. So can I put xtx660's tyres on it? and not cross tires? |

just throttle steer it.... It's one of the few things they
do quite well.... Most of the ADV 20/80 tyres work well on sealed roads.. I like Shinko 705 for the road on my XTR...

Plenty of decent road bias tyres out there for the XTR (and XTZ) in 90/90x21 and 130/80x17. I have used:
Dunlop Trailmax TR91 Bridgestone Battle Wing Continental Trail Attack Of the ones above, personally I rate the Dunlop Trailmax TR91 marginally the best, but all have been pretty good perfromers on tarmac, wet or dry. There are others too such as Michelin Anakee III and Pirelli Scorpion Trail, but I've not tried them. |

Trail Attack 2's every time for me or Conti Road Attack 2's if your not playing in the dirt
TK80's if you are. I love my Continentals. Tried all the rest and Conti's give me 1500 more miles every time. Just my opinion. |

I am going the conti trail attack 2 road.
On paper it ticks the right boxes for me (no off roading) |
