Leo Vince Tenere cans

Just saw these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Exhaust-L...db3b322&_uhb=1 on eBay and was thinking that they are rather cheap? I'm from Australia so with shipping they would be around $570, only a bit more than a single Barrett can. What are peoples opinions on these exhausts?

Cheers, Andy

The Barrett single can system looks pretty good - why not support your local economy! I'm not a huge fan of the Leo Vince system, mainly because the right hand link pipe is a smaller diameter than the left and where the left/right link pipes join it is more of a "T" than a "Y" and doesn't look ideal for decent gas flow and balance between the two cans. I've also read recently of at least two owners who have struggled to get the LV system to fit symmetrically on the Tenere. Plus, and this is a significant one, the Barrett system will save you a shed load of weight over the LV.

Bought my TenerLady with LVs on

They seem ok, even in the wet

But agree with Pleiades , don't seem right about the angle and diameter of right hand can

I was even thinking of cutting the link pipe capping the end so as to only use the left can
Cut the guts out of the right can and make into a tool tube
Phil

The LVs are almost the same weight as the OE metal box. I wasn't impressed with mine. They are also LOUD with the baffles out, more so than the Akras.

I have experience with LV cans as I have fitted one to my XJR as well as 2 on my XTX. I am VERY impressed with the quality and fit and finish and even an unexpert (me) managed to fit them very easily. And the quality seems excellent, I have had the XJR one for several years and it still looks good. And they are not at all loud.

Yeah, the only reason I would have got the LV system is because it looks so purrty but weight is a big thing for me, and of course I do like to support Australian companies so I guess that's the one I'll get! (and a Kev mod ofc )

You won't regret the Barrett products, top product with fantastic support and a great price! What more could you ask for, oh they do industry best pannier racks as well!!! Matt
