Brakes
Hi All
I have a 2010 660Z and the brakes have always been a bit soft and lacking in any feel. I want to replace the brake lines with braided lines and to replace the levers with stubby ones (I had to shorten the standard ones to fit aceribis brush guards on the renthals that I have fitted). Can anyone recommend a good place to get all these from? Cheers Rich |

I've used HEL, you have a couple of options for the front (dual lines or Y-line) they are good guys and the hoses have worked well.
Another option is Venhill - others have used these. There are numerous short lever solutions, form cheap Chinese type to ASV's. I opted for the ASV's, but the din't do a set specific to the Tenere, so it was a brake lever from one bike and a clutch from another that fit - they probably have this sorted by now though as many people have changed levers.

+1 For Hel brake lines - available
here
I got myself some eBay stubby CNC levers for less than 20 for the pair - delivered! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SRB-CNC-Br...item4854bd5836 Fit perfectly and of excellent quality. You've got to watch the ordering process and get it just right or you'll end up with the wrong levers. All the relevant information needs to be added as a note at the checkout stage. You will need to state exactly (for the XTZ)... 1x Suzuki - GSXR 600 1997 - 2003 Clutch lever 1x Yamaha - FJR 1300 2004 - 2008 Brake lever I want the lever in XXX color I want the adjuster in XXX color I want short/long levers |
