RST Adventure Textile Kit Review part2
The two large front pockets are waterproof, well placed and secured with poppers and velcro.
[IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG] The front zip is well hidden with a flap that is in turn held closed with velcro. [IMG] [/IMG] As can be seen the soft neck closure is also velcro once the zip ends. [IMG] [/IMG] Ultimately the sleeves can be unzipped .....or the attaching zips opened to vent the armpit area. The sleeves can be stashed in the bumbag on the rear of the jacket. [IMG] [/IMG] There is a removable foam back protector that slides into a back pocket. [IMG] [/IMG] This is held closed by velcro. [IMG] [/IMG] There is also a large inside pocket that will hold stuff like driving documents. [IMG] [/IMG] The camel back, that fits into the built in rear pocket is of good quality parts ...it look like parts can be interchangeable with the likes of a basic Decathlon camel back. [IMG] [/IMG] Square shaped cap is easy to loosen off...great idea. [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG] The mouth piece is well designed where upon you can have it open and primed as it were and then you just have to pinch with your teeth to open it fully. There's a loop of material on the front of the jacket where you put the water tube through, thus holding it steady from flaffing about as you ride. Really handy for keeping your self hydrated as you ride. Once you're thirsty then it's too late...you're already de-hydrated.....with that then comes fatigue.....so..all that to say sip as you ride to extend your ride times. [IMG] [/IMG] Water tube exits through here after the camel back pocket is zipped closed. [IMG] [/IMG] Next there's a breathable lightweight water proof liner that gets fitted into the jacket. This is zipped in (by the two zips on the front)and is also fitted by various tabs clicking onto receiver loops on the jacket interior. There are double flaps to keep anything that might be exposed, covered with the aid of velcro. [IMG] [/IMG] Note the tabs for connecting to the jacket interior. [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG] The neck is closed snugly by velcro. [IMG] [/IMG] Sleeve tabs to connect to the jacket interior sleeve. [IMG] [/IMG] Part 3 is here...... http://www.xt660.com/showthread.php?t=20798 . .
