Allen Key

Came to reshod the Tenere Lady the other day with a set of TKCs only to find the front spindle is a Allen Key ...............the BIGGEST MOTHER THIS SIDE OF HELL........... thing is there wasn't one in the tool kit so ended up using a bolt head !!

Thing is, is there ment to be one or not and is it a 15mm ?

Cheers Phil

As far as I know, Yamaha do not provide one in the toolkit you need to buy your own.

Best get a socket not an Allen key.

Size is 14mm. I use a socket.

Try this;

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/14mm-Hex-O...item5d36c6b14f

Does seem a little daft not to include one in the tool kit, but hey if you buy a BMW F800 you get a little less than nothing as a tool kit.

Hi Phil, it's a 14mm jobbie,
you're a handy guy, get yourself an allen key, cut a bit off and weld it to your tyre lever, the one you carry on the bike

all being well see you next week
