Cone filter in place of airbox & Power comander
Hi all, im about to begin a project with my 2005 XTX. Im altering the frame and and giving it the old school scrambler look, or at least thats the plan. One of the main things is removing the airbox and fitting a cone filter. I have a couple quick questions:
-If I fit a cone filter direct in place of the airbox, and the couple smaller breather filters, can I sort the fueling simply by adding a power commander and a suitable fueling map? (Dont want, cant afford to spend 550 on a DNA stage 3 kit + powercemander). -My bike is a toy, I tend not to ride in the rain but if I did are the chances high that water will get into the filter/engine. In other words will the bike still be practical and usable? Cheers |

It would map better if you fitted an O2 eliminator as well the stage 3 is a cone filter in a metal box so you should be ok
