Bike Magazine article

Can anyone help? I am looking for a specific article in Bike magazine (UK). It was written by Damon I'Anson and gave the story of how he and another guy rode a pair of XT660Rs from the UK to the highest motorable road in the Himalayas. It's from 2006 or 2007. I had the magazine back in the day, but typically threw it away when I was 'instructed' to have a clear out by the management.

If anyone is able to have a look in their collections and give me the month and year of the issue, I would be very grateful, so I can get one from ebay. (If you have a copy you wouldn't mind exchanging for beer tokens, that would be even better.)

(BTW, this is not the article by the same writer about his participation in the Himalayan Rally Raid, from the March 2007 issue. I now have that, due to a misunderstanding with an ebay seller, who couldn't see past the word 'Himalayas' in his quest for a sale.)

The whole story is in five parts in five separate issues! Oct 06, Nov 06, Dec 06, Jan 07 and Feb 07. Plus there is the rally Raid article in March, which you already have. (Feb 07 issue is the one with the actual record attempt write-up, the rest are all about getting to the Himalayas and bit about prep.)

I have parts 1, 4 and 5. Nov/Dec 06 issues have gone AWOL! (Although they may yet turn up?)

I'm no magazine collector (just never throw anything out!) so happy to see one, or all of them, go to a good home. Drop me a PM...

Pleiades has come up trumps on four of the five issues mentioned above - many thanks! I am now missing only the December 2006 issue. If anyone has one they no longer need, I would be happy to exchange it for beer money and postage. PM if you can help.

Heh, looks like the last person to post there was me, last Christmas. Before that, 2010 or so.

Maybe not a good place to ask, then ...
