Cutting out.

Momentarily cuts out at motorway speeds. Happened three times yesterday on the motorway. I had done about 180 miles that day on the motorway. Happened just before a fuel stop and just after.

Anyone had this happen?
Bike has done 12k miles.

Also; anyone had issues with rear wheel bearings?
Mine failed last week and I had to get them fixed in Germany. Still made it to the Elefanten treffen though

not sure on the cutting out, could be to do with the electrics as its intermitant, try taking the tank off and on the LHS taking out the connectors cleaning and then greasing and reconnecting.

as for the rear wheel bearings if your Cush drive runners are worn this can put stress on the bearing especially if
you've packed them out with inner tube and it's been packed wrong. I went through wheel bearings and sprocket bearings a few times then noticed that every time the packing was putting a minor wobble onto the rear sprocket then after a while it would get worse and then fail
