hi everyone i have a xt660x and a xt660r my problem is with the front fork clamp part of my xt660x i was undoing the 2 bolts from the clamp i noticed that just above the bolts the casing had cracked right across the mounting which left the clamp being in 2 pieces gutted i have tried to find a replacement does anyone have any ideas or the whereabouts of a replacement set many thanks john t

this is a common problem with he form legs on the older xtx and xtr. I crack my old xtr leg at the pinch bolts and read that some people where able to find a specialist who could weld it back together but most did what I did and just find a replacement (yamaha dealers aren't cheap so keep an eye on eBay). others have just left it and kept an eye on it

I thought you ment the yokes..but you are talking about
the front axle clamp at the bottom of the right fork leg ?
