Side stands for X, R and Z

Does anyone know if the side stand feet are the same for all the models? I want to fit a side stand extender, and Touratech list one for the Z, and you can get a Camel Toe for the Z, but I don't know if they'd fit an R.

You will need to suffix your search with "sidestand"

The foot on the XTR is different to the Z.

I have made my own out of cutting board (the white plastic ones) and 3mm aluminium plates.

But I got a faily cheap side stand extender off Evil Bay and made it fit.

Ok can't remember where I got it but can find out if you want, cheers.

The XTZ foot is like () and the XTR is <> , if you know what I mean.

They are also a little different in size. The one I got was plastic with an aluminium top plate, so was easy to mod with a dremial like tool.

There is no interference with the SW Motech centre stand with this mod on the R.

I believe the Z stand is longer then the R and may be the problem Touratech mention.

Thanks mate. I appreciate the replies. Strange that no-one sells a dedicated extender for the R.

Maybe I'll go with the centre stand first and use that on warm tarmac etc. I can live with the bike falling over in fields - that's why I bought it!

Camel Toe

I fitted a 660Z one to my R, no problems. Top plate bent a little when tightening but not a lot.
Can anyone tell me where I might get a side stand that fits to the RH side of an R.
