Hi.
Do anyone have any idea/knowledge where to put alarm box in XT660ZA (new model with ABS)? I have no problems with wiring but absolutely no notion where to install it... ABS system is located under seat and there are no space for anything... Please help.

I know the fuse box is behind the left hand grey plastic tank cover on the ABS bike, but what's behind the right hand one? There's a bit of space on the non-ABS Tenere here (I've got accessory relays and fuses behind mine). Other than that removing the snorkel will buy a bit more space under the seat, or fit a tool tube somewhere for your tool kit and use the original tool kit location?

Do you really want an alarm? Mine is a pain in the backside. Always arms itself when fuelling, once the battery in the fop thingy went and i was stuck, when it goes off nobody cares and no discount on insurance at all. Once connected you cannot just remove it anymore. After my accident the bike was with the light on and the hazzard lights were on for an hour and a half. Battery flat after that. Now the garage cannot put the alarm to sleep anymore. Need to call somebody in.
Just some points to bear in mind.

Thanks for your perspective. But this is thread about alarm box place in XT660ZA. We can discuss problem "is alarm useful or is not" in another thread. It would be pleasure to me to share with you my thoughts on this issue.
