bash plate/crash bars

I know i know its very quick but ive seen few items for sale and just wondering if the bash plate mounts and engine bar mounts for any years of the tenere have changed. Just looking to buy some bits and bobs before ive even got a bike and wanted to know if i buy them what bike will it fit and what bike will it not.

They are suppose to be yammy crash bars i think and a touratech bash plate (looks like smaller version than barn door one)

The front mounts? No, they are just flaps of thin steel.... they look as weak (and are if you remove the bashplates) as cheese, but no-one seams to have had any problems with them.

The OE crash-bars are very likely to break. Some have welded them and they have been OK, some of the later ones look to have been OK. Rare as hens teeth now.

Must get a wee meet up and run out spen with you at some stage.

What you up to Aug 25?

TDC (top dead centre MCC) are doing a wee run around the lough leaving ballynure at 10am i think then back to for a bbq and a few drinks (or home) if your up for it. Still trying to find accommodation cause the misses thinks she might want to come so its B & Bs if she comes, if not im told there is camping at the back of the pub......which always sounds like good crack....few drinks, roll from the bar to bed in one flowing movement
