Smile Hi All

I'm pretty new to this biking game... I passed my mod 2 last week having done my CBT last October. I got an 08-reg XT660Z on Monday and I'm loving it. I've been riding a WR125R for the last 8 months and the XT is a refreshing change.

Whilst searching for an XT I was lucky to test ride one with some Leo Vince cans on and it sounded tremendous - I didn't buy that one though as I didn't like the colour (blue). Leo Vince cans will be my first mod, as soon as I can afford it. I assume there will be no MoT test problems with these fitted?

Thanks to all of you for this great resource, I've been reading lots already.

Guzlr.

Thanks Mort :-)
The WR was an excellent bike, very light, agile and well balanced. My only gripe was lack of power (15bhp), but obviously that was necessary for me to be able to ride it legally as a learner in the UK. Even then, I could get over 60mph on the flat - eventually. Be aware that it's a rather tall bike with a seat height of 915mm. This is even taller than my XTZ and, although I'm 6'1", I couldn't put both feet flat on the floor so had the odd 'hairy moment' and did drop it more than once whilst stationary. Fortunately this only ever cracked the mirrors and they are pretty cheap at Wemoto (<20). I think there are lower seat options available if you are not so tall.

Thanks CaptMoto.

How do the MTC's compare to the Leo Vinces' in terms of sound? Do they have removable baffles? And what's the difference between the round, oval and tri-oval cans? Is it just aesthetic?

Sorry for all the questions.

Hi, yes they have removable baffles, sound compared to Leo Vince's you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart blind folded.

Oval, round or trioval, just aesthetics. yup!
