Anyone got one of these horns yet?....
Going by the video it certainly seems to be a great idea when a 'blue-hair/flat capper' pulls out.....not too expensive either?

Hmm, sounds perfect.
But how far is it from a rebuke ? Could be seen as such in the UK, and it runs the danger of distracting the driver even more, making for a more dangerous situation ? It comes down to the car driver really, but that is a big unknown factor. In my experience, if a driver isn't paying attention, the use of a horn is detrimental and it's better to just carry on with your own driving plan, and get past the hazard when it's safe to do so. But there are occasions when a horn is useful. Dunno, would need to think about this a bit more.

I thought it was a good idea that it pulsed and flashed the lights....has to be better than any standard horn surely....I get what you mean about the usual unknown variable of 'I didn't see him Officer"

Nice find. That is a smart idea - I like it. Shame it's the best part of 120 quid from their UK importer!
http://www.screamingbanshee.co.uk/ca...nshee-systems/ Not really justifiable for me in the backwaters of Norfolk as I recall the horn's only been used once in the twelve months, and that was for the MOT! |
