I have an old mate who is a scaffolder, and he had the opportunity to go to India to work...... reckons the bamboo stuff, when put up right can be better than the steel and alloy stuff we use,, Lighter, faster to erect and it doesn't fall down in winds!

But no, never going to get approval over here in Health & Safety central.
