Cleaning standard exhaust headers

Anyone got any tips for getting the standard pipes looking good again?

Buck?

By standard do you mean the headers !!!!!

if so its the old favourite "BLUE HARPIC LIMESCALE REMOVER "
if its the actual cans then a light application of T-CUT .

I swear by 'PEEK' metal polish...about 3 from hardware stores. Its good for pretty much any unpainted metal surface like rad covers/metal chain guards etc. I used to use loads of it when i had my modded bandit.

Just to update on this - cleaned my pipes today with the PEEK as they were pretty minging (little black spots/discoulouring etc)...it worked a treat-as always and if applied correctly (i.e. like it says on tube) you should have no worries,

Oi Tootall with the Bandit.....I've just got a new Blue Flame system for my Bandit..... what should I use to protect the bits to keep them looking lovely.

Thanks for the tip with the PEEK..... gonna get some, I gues you wash the bike first then use the PEEK to polish?
