Heated grips
Hi All,
Can any one point me in the right direction of a good reliable brand of heated grips. Can't include Oxford products as both our controllers have failed after only 9 months of intermittent use. cheers paul www.twobikesrunning.co.uk |

Personally don't use heated grips anymore (use heated gloves). My advice would be firstly to avoid the Oxford variety, had them and failed very quickly. Ride magazine amongst others seem to reckon the R&G grips are the best at the moment, available for 35 with free delivery (to UK!) here...
http://www.p-rclothing.com/products/Winter-Warmers/108 I've also used Symtech grip heater pads in the past (which fit under standard grips). Awkward to fit, but when in place I found worked really well, solidly constructed and you can choose what sort of grip to fit over them if you like foam etc. (spare parts are also available for these) http://www.windingroads.co.uk/shop/p...le-heated-grip |

+1 for symtech heated pads. I currently have these under standard grips, bl00dy fantastic, opt for the metal toggle switch as the plastic one gets water ingress.

Symtec for me too, been only my ktm 400 for around 3 years and through all sorts of abuse and weathers, still working perfect

Cheers Lads,
I'll try the Symtec kiddies, with the toggle. |
