Breakfast of a coffee, donut and crisps you brought from home.....healthy....questionable

Dry roads but it was blooming cold

Had to be done

My lunch, very tasty

Hmm Cold, but the road was still suprisingly dry and grippy

Some really nice bits of countryside around the Snake Pass

Old school bit of engineering

hmmm ive still another 400 mile to do on this, hope it doesnt rain tooooo much

My unlces newly bought Tiger 800 (he flew from Glasgow to Luton, we picked him up, road to Maidenhead, he bought a bike and then we ended up here for a feed!!)

Are guide Ian as Boyd the guy who runs and normally guides you was doing modifications to his house (as he said or the wife would )

Old man having a wee sit down after a rough trail

Having a wee tea/coffe at ians house after some long rough off roading

Pee stop and time for a photo, lovely sunny weather and we mostly dodged the showers

A trail there felt like it went on and on, but you just had to focus non stop

Ian coming back after he went to put the side stand down on the KTM and found it wasnt there!!!! Bolt had sheared off but lucky enough he got the sidestand again.

Close up of Ian after the steep down hill steps

Yes playing in the water as my feet where already ringing wet, too many oh big puddle splash ah wet feets

Yes that is snow in the back round and there where a few sections where you had 20m of snow covering the trail, very slippery or you just sunk in and had to power your way out.

And finally an action splash photo of the old man

All in all a great days off roading but my god to you feel like youve been 3 rounds with a boxer the next day. (yes i am unfit)

Thats it for this trip, next is the lakes and the the IOM TT for a week....Cant wait.

Brands Hatch BSB and yes its.....RAINING

Cant go to motorbike race and not sit on a few bikes. Tenere even feels small now!!! I think i need to stop growing. Make Thomas in the orange fluro jacket, so gald he brought his company car down it was put to very good use as a shelter was the great weather

One of the cleanest XTR's ive seen in a while, used as a return the racer to the paddack bike

Some of the racing at actually happened

That evening another feed with a few of my relatives. Left to Right, Me, Nana, Mother, Wendy (Aunt), Adrain (Uncle). Old mans taking the photo

I think this is Whitestable but nice coast and nice weather

On the pier at Dover, getting cool again, but still sunny as ever

Old man orders steak and chips with a side order of 3 (yes 3) fried eggs, and i get pie and mash, which turns out to be half a pie and a bucket of gravy. Was all good

Somewhere along the coast near whitestable

Pose

The big 88 taking in the coastal views

On the way back up to Stoke on Trent, pulled into a service station off the M1 for a break, mate Thomas rings me out of the blue asking where im at and by any chance is it the blabhlabh service station. Randomly thomas had pulled over for a pee and a lolly while heading home from work, saw the bikes out front and put two and two together!!! How random is that

Overland Trail Tours for 1 days off roading, this time i had to hire a Yamaha WR250F as i didnt have the XT660R. Class days off roading that i would recommend for any one, cheaper though if you bring your own bike. couple of piccies

more to come
