Bar risers

Want to get some bar risers as when up on the pegs the standard bars feel a touch too low.

in boots i think im about 6'4". So what bar risers would you recommend? i think they need raising about 25mm - 35mm but as im new to this im not really sure.

I'm 6' and use 30mm risers, you may need more?? 25-30mm is generally OK regarding cable lengths, higher ones may require changes, especially for the throttle. The ones I use are SW Motech.

i really cant be arsed with altering cables. guess 30mm will be my limit then.

This may sound stupid but do the risers come with the suitable bolts...or is that a seperate purchase?

yeah ive got Venhill brake lines on my Fazer. Ordered them and they were totally wrong, didnt fit at all. Took a lot of sorting out but got there in the end.

If im honest, i just cant be bothered. i dont have the time plus what time i have i want to be out riding. So, as it stands i wont get any risers more than 30mm so i dont have to alter anything.

Which ones did you use as there seems to be non specific to the Ten? Gonna go for a 30mm raise. Next job is to find some pegs, which is proving stupidly hard considering the Ten is a new and popular bike.

Cheers

Phil, I have a set of SWM 30mm bar risers for sale.

I was planning to use them on my bike BUT I crashed before they arrived & replaced the bent original bars with Renthals.

They are for an XTR, which has a 22mm stock bar. If they will fit you are welcome to them for a price close to $SFA.
