datatool revlight

picked up one of these cheap and as far as i'm aware they don't make them anymore
has anyone fitted one ?
whats the xtx revlimiter set at ?
which wire carries the pulse for rev counter function ?

The grey wire between crankshaft position sensor and ECU is where to pick up a pulse. Be careful chopping any wires that lead to and from the ECU � make sure you get it right! Solder and heatshrink is the way to go.

As for the rev limiter, I think it�s set somewhere around 7200rpm on the XT660 motor?

I had one of these fitted to a quad and found that fitting a push-button switch between the orange wire and earth made life a lot easier with programming.

Only ever solder and heat shrink, no scotchlocks round here
Looks easy to set up, as we already got the rev counter function on dash should be easy,
