Single akro, bit close to indicator,as per fitting instructions though.

Fitted the single akro to my bike from off the road, looks ok and sounds the lovely, the only problem is the tail pipe ends up 2 inches in front of the mini indicators and tail tidy, had to make a small indicator shape heat shield with exhaust heat proof material on to protect the indicator, done about 300 miles and is perfectly ok, but theres no way you could use the bike without the shield or the indicator would end up a blop of plastic within seconds.

I saw your other post first!! But I now see you have the situation fully under control! A couple of people are known to have melted OE top cases with their aftermarket end cans.

The off the road tail tidy stops me fitting a yam top box because of were the yam box slots in to the rear led is there, if i,d noticed that i more than likely would have just fitted an enduro style rear tail tidy instead, too late now!

I have the single Akro and tial tidy from OTR, I got the small indicators and had to point them slightly upwards.. Probably about 15 degrees. Have not had any melting issues, done about 2500km since. The akra sounds really loud if the indicator is in the way of the air stream... Love the sound now :-)

Hi, the problem was worse with mine because the mini indicators off the road supplied were bigger than they normally supply ?, i even had to drill the indicator bracket holes 4mm bigger to get the indicator to bolt up. no probs now as the indicator is just above the akro. but makes the "bolt straight on tail tidy" a bit of a joke.
