Travel advice - Ardeche region

Currently planning a trip in June and looking for any recommendations where to stay and places to go.

Hotels, B&Bs, and Guest-houses all considered.

Also any recomended roads or must visit places.

We are planning to visit Puy de Dome (volcano), Pas de Peyrol (the highest road pass in the Massif Central), Pont dArc, Gorges de lArdeche, Defile de Ruoms, Cirque de Navacelles, Pont du Gard and Gorge du Tarn. Maybe even Pont D'Avignon, Rocamadour (a bit further afield).

Roads

Nick,
Loads of great roads in the central massif. There is the bikers rest to stay in with really good home cooked food and a breakfast to die for. Tony has lots of info about where and what but for me a big surprise was the D920 from Aurillac to Espalion is fantastic. So good in fact I turned round and rode it the other way.

Puy Marie is good but choose your day, been there three times and only once been able to see more than a few feet at the top. Also one of the roads up there is very boring, I think it's the one going north east.

Good luck
