My alarm has been fitted by soldering the wires and hiding the joins within the loom. I know this because I've changed my bike's wiring for older version, I had to cut and re-solder. The original alarm installation was carried out by a Yam dealer. I reckon this method leaves less or no room for dodgy electrical connections that could cause a faulty alarm over time.

Hi
Looking at buying the same alarm on Flea Bay, did you manage to sort your connectors out??
