cant fit crash bars help?

hi all
ive just got a set of crash bars and cant fit the right hand side,due to the reg support bracket getting in the way,any of you had a problem fitting these? http://holan.pl/en/catalog/24/224/234/0/XT660_Tenere

ive had a go at fitting them loose,ive had a go at fitting the front bolt first,then even had a go at fitting the back bolt first,and it still seems to be way off from fitting the last bolt no matter how i do it

I installed H&B crashbars yesterday, however I have noticed that left side of the bar (below the engine) is lover then the right side. As a result, the ground clearance decreased around 2-3 cm. Is it normal (side stand mount protection) or I've just got some faulty crashbar?

OTR have been know for some erroneous delivery schedules, but I have always found them to be true to their word. I think the trick is to speak to them, don't rely on the web ordering.

In any case, the OTR engine guard was tested to destruction by JMo on the Heroes Legend Rally, and I've had one fitted for the best part of 20,000 miles through all kinds of terrain. My bike has had it's fair share of horizontal moments, no damage to any of the engine parts.

Hi gregdobrynin, I have H&B crashbars on my Ten, looks like they are not equally bent, but seems about equal in height to me...

@spen
I can recommend those H&B crashbars strongly, they protect most of the bike's sides and waterpump. I've crashed mine couple of times on both sides and the crashbars took all the shock, without any damage on the other bike parts. Might be a coincidence tho, but they're definitely aces in my book...

I bought them from a local dealer, but as I see OTR sells them also.
