Hi all,
My front fork spindle clamp on right leg has cracked across bolt holes. Will any year xtx fork fit or is there an alternative fix. Yam prices are stupid to replace.

There was an upgrade in 2006 on the lower fork tube because of them cracking from being over tightened. As far as I know they are all interchangeable between the XTX's.

Thanks for info. I am watching set of 2007 forks on ebay. Is this a fault known by Yamaha so warranting them replacing forks or just a heavy handed mechanic?

When the bikes were under warranty Yamaha replaced the lower fork leg under warranty, if the bike is out of warranty Yamaha won't pay.
