wierd problem

Hi guys i wonder if somone might be able to offer some advise,
Right so i havent ridden my bike for a week and when i went to ride it this morning, i found pushing it out the garage really hard, natrually i checked the tyres(front was a little flat but inflated and was fine) so i got on the bike and started to ride to work and found that it was like somone was pulling me back and the bike was really struggling to get up to speed.
also when i let the throttle off the bike really slows down (more than just engine braking), i initialy thought it was either one of the brakes but the wheels spin round fine when i had the bike on its stands.
any ideas?

Did you check the brakes when it was cold? Sounds to me you have a binding brake. This heats up the disc and causes it to expand and makes it worse. Most likely the rent from being ridden on salty roads.

Trouble pushing yer bike and it slows down too quickly?

If the tyre pressure is ok and the wheels spin ok then there can only be one reason.........too much christmas pudding!

Is the chain rusty, old? I would say as above either chain tension or binding brake pads.
